Statement on Rates

The Pine Center does not believe that income should limit a person's ability to access high quality mental health care. For that reason, a certain percentage of The Pine Center's sessions will be allocated to sliding scale offerings for clients. Sliding scale rates for sessions are modeled on U.S. Department of Health and Human Services data and are offered based on availability.

No, The Pine Center does not accept any form of insurance and is self-pay only. HSA and FSA cards are accepted. Superbills are available upon request.

Simply, a sliding scale is a way to adjust the amount you pay for each session depending on your income and household size. Those with lower incomes pay less, those with higher incomes pay more.

First, identify the number of people in your household & the total household income, from there you can see your session fee.
- - Examples:
    - Let's imagine a household with a client, another adult, and a child. This would count as a 3-person household. If the total household income (between the 2 adults) is $51,200, this person would fall under plan C with session rate of $122 per session.
    - A client living alone (one-person household) making $39,000 would fall into Plan B with a session rate of $82 per session.
    - A client living with 2 other people, (3-person household), with a household income of $200,000 would fall into Plan D, with a session rate of $145.
