Group for Those Living with Dissociation

Taking Notes during a Virtual Meeting

This group is for those living with depersonalization/derealization, dissociative amnesia, Unspecified Dissociative Disorder, Other Specified Dissociative Disorder (1a or 1b), and Dissociative Identity Disorder.

This is a psychoeducational group intended to educate & increase one's ability to cope through the use of skills. 

It is recommended that those entering this group also be in individual therapy. 

 

When: Mondays 3/25/24 through 7/1/24
​Time: 6-7:30pm
​Ages: 18+
Location: Virtual, open to all of NC! 
Total meetings: 15
Cost: $50 per meeting, total investment $750
This can be paid at once or weekly.

**Early Bird Registration Discount**
Those who register and pay upfront by March 15th will receive a reduced rate of $700 ($50 discount). 

This group will offer the opportunity to: 
 

  • Learn about dissociation, understand triggers, understand trauma memories, inner cooperation, mechanisms for protection, planning for difficult times, the importance of self-regulation, and more! â€‹

  • Build skills in grounding, regulation, creating an inner sense of safety, coping with triggers, learning to reflect, building a strong foundation, and more! 

  • Create community with others who deal with symptoms of dissociation, finding validation, connection, and understanding.

Navigating Life Challenges

This is an excellent group for young adults, ages 18-25 who are facing changes and challenges in young adulthood. This is an 8-week psychoeducational class that will navigate:

*Identity Development

*Romance & Connection

* Meeting Milestones
* and much more! 

Cost: $30 per meeting

Beach Meditation

Trauma & The Body 

This is a wonderful complement for those already in therapy seeking skills development for nervous system regulation, connection, community, and embodiment.

***Please note this is a psychoeducation group that incorporates somatic yoga practices; this is not a psychotherapy group focused on the therapeutic relationship & interpersonal group relationships. This is also different from yoga classes with focus on physical poses, fitness, and/or longer practices of yoga asana and vinyasa. Referrals for psychotherapists and/or yoga classes with registered yoga teachers (RYTs) can be provided upon request.***
