Hi, I'm Eliza!
I believe in the power of the therapeutic alliance - no matter the reason you're here today, my goal is to support you in a nonjudgemental, culturally sensitive, affirming, and compassionate way.
About Eliza
Eliza (she/her) is a Charlotte native. She is a counseling intern working towards earning her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Northwestern University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Rhodes College in 2021.

In session, she utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach, meaning she finds value in pieces of multiple counseling theories to offer clients a unique and individualized therapeutic experience that best meets their needs.

Eliza is client-centered and meets you where you are. She firmly believes in your expertise of your own lived experience and aims to create a collaborative atmosphere where you work together to achieve wellness. Whether you are looking to build coping skills, increase self-awareness, identify patterns that aren't working for you, or identify and examine internalized beliefs, Eliza will work with you at a comfortable, personalized pace to set to help you meet your goals.

Eliza’s clinical interests include (but are not limited to) queer identities, sexuality, anxiety, self-esteem, depression, life transitions, relationships, and eating disorders. As an intern, she is committed to ongoing professional development and staying up to date on current best practices and research in the field. In her personal life, she is a singer/songwriter, a competitive Scrabble player, and an avid foodie (but terrible cook).
