Hi, I'm Alexxis!

Healing isn't a one-size-fits-all journey! I work collaboratively with each client to find what will work best as we navigate toward well-being. I take an integrative approach to working with clients, helping them identify how many factors (environmental, systemic, historical, etc.) may be influencing their emotional and behavioral patterns.

About Me

Alexxis is a licensed clinical counselor deeply committed to helping individuals navigate life’s complexities with compassion, clarity, and confidence. Her path to becoming a therapist began in her teens as a natural mediator and conflict resolution specialist—skills that have blossomed into a purposeful, client-centered counseling practice. Since 2016, she has expanded her work across state government as a career counselor and within community mental health settings, supporting clients with a wide range of needs, including mental health challenges, substance use concerns, and family dynamics.

Alexxis takes an integrative, trauma-informed approach to care, using a blend of evidence-based and somatic modalities to meet each client where they are. Her clinical toolkit includes Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), somatic processing, narrative and person-centered therapies, Gestalt methods, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. She also draws from integrated systems models to address the interconnected nature of a client’s environment, relationships, and internal experiences—helping them explore how systemic factors influence their emotional and behavioral patterns.

Alexxis believes that healing is not a one-size-fits-all journey. She works collaboratively with clients to co-create individualized treatment plans that honor their lived experience, foster emotional resilience, and support their mental, emotional, and relational well-being.

Outside of her professional work, Alexxis enjoys nurturing her growing collection of houseplants. She also loves spending time outdoors, whether hiking scenic trails, exploring new parks, or simply soaking up fresh air and sunshine. A true foodie at heart, Alexxis delights in discovering new culinary experiences, from sampling diverse global cuisines to experimenting with new recipes in her own kitchen. These passions provide balance, creativity, and inspiration in both her personal and professional life.
